Las mejores fundas para proteger bien tu iPad

Seguramente sea un accesorio más importante para el iPad que para el iPhone. No lo llevamos en el bolsillo, y se arrastra mucho por la mesa. Así pues, las fundas nos dan una protección extra en nuestro iPad y además actuan como base para mantenerlo de pie. Existen muchas más alternativas a las oficiales de Apple, así que nosotros te enseñamos algunas alternativas.

Imán de la funda encenciendo el iPad

Quizás desde el nacimiento del iPod el concepto de funda haya tomado un camino totalmente distinto. ¿Alguno recuerda haber conocido la existencia de fundas para los Walkman? En los móviles lo más que se veía eran los calcetines o las carcasas intercambiables de algunos Nokia, característica que perdieron los modelos más modernos a favor de la calidad de construcción.

Ha sido Apple con sus dispositivos la que ha creado un nuevo mercado de accesorios y fundas para ellos. Cualquier iPod, iPhone, iPad o MacBook tiene miles y miles de fundas a su disposición para personalizarlo hasta donde tú quieras. Comprarse un aparato no Apple, supone estar casi aislado del mercado de accesorios, del cual sólo Apple puede presumir tener un dominio casi absoluto.

Así pues, después de haber probado varias fundas en Applesencia, en incluso la nueva Smart Case de Apple, hoy nos disponemos a proponerte 4 fundas para disfrutar en tu iPad. Analizaremos la Macally SlimCase, Macally MagCover, Macally BookStand y Proporta Slim Jim.

Macally SlimCase

Se trata sin duda una funda muy interesante para nuestro tablet. Tiene forma de libro y la tapa exterior es de forro. Para proteger al iPad, su parte interior está cubierta de terciopelo. Para adherirse a él se aprovecha de varias pestañas de plástico y el juego de imanes del tablet de Apple.

Nos encontramos ante una funda de tipo 3/2, lo que quiere decir que no se enrrolla la tapa frontal al estilo de la Smart Cover, sino que es la parte trasera la que se dobla para quedar más atrás y así quedar el iPad apoyado en una hendidura de la tapa delantera. Por eso decimos que contamos con una funda de tres piezas, que plegada es un libro de dos tapas.

Gracias a la rigidez de la tapa que se dobla, podremos ajustar el ángulo de visión o simplemente dejar el iPad a la hendidura que mencionábamos anteriormente.

Como toda funda que se precie, **utiliza el sistema de imanes del iPad para encenderlo y apagarlo**. Además, todas las conexiones, botones y cámara quedan perfectamente accesibles. Podremos adquirirla por **39,95 euros** y está disponible en color **negro** como nuestra unidad de pruebas, **azul** o **rosado**. ##Macally MagCover Vista general de la MagCover Volvemos a encontrarnos con una funda muy similar a la anterior, de tipo 3/2 pero que esta vez es de **tela reforzada por cantos de plástico por fuera**, y por dentro nos encontramos ante terciopelo. Quizás no sea tan agraciada como la anterior, pero en esto de las fundas hay gustos para todo. Como no, **los agujeros para los distintos botones y conexiones del iPad hacen acto de presencia**, y le quitan parte del encanto a la funda, pero son necesarios dado su diseño. En la SlimCase, al meter el iPad dentro de un libro y abrazarlo con pestañas, sólo necesita el agujero de la cámara. Esta, al ser más una carcasa ceñida al chásis del iPad que una funda al uso, necesita tener agujeros en su estructura para no perder funcionalidades. 70

En cuanto a la colocación, gracias a su estructura 3/2 podremos doblar su parte trasera para que ésta quede apoyada sobre la tapa delantera y así **regular el ángulo de inclinación**. Podremos adquirirla al igual que la SlimCase por **39,95 euros** y está disponible en color **gris**, **marrón** o **violeta**. ##Macally BookStand Vista general de la BookStand Dejamos de lado las fundas 3/2 y nos acercamos a las fundas de tipo Smart Case de Apple, donde se combina una carcasa trasera y una SmartCover. La Macally BookStand se caracteriza por ser una **funda de piel sintética de alta calidad**, con un fondo interior de microfibra. En cuanto al tipo de funda, es muy parecida a la MagCover, puesto que en su parte central es de piel, pero los extremos están reforzados por plástico duro, solo que **su tapa frontal se enrrolla sobre sí misma** para poner el iPad de pie o elevarlo sobre uno de sus extremos para mejorar nuestra posición de escritura. Lo único que no nos ha gustado ha sido un **mal ajuste en la incrusión de los bordes de la piel sobre el plástico de refuerzo**, quedan algunos flecos sueltos y es símbolo de mala calidad. No sabemos si es por problema de nuestra unidad de pruebas que venía defectuosa, o que esta funda para mantener el precio con un acabado superior, reduce el control de calidad final. 78

El imán en la tapa frontal para encender el tablet no falta, y **el sistema de apertura es bastante sólido**. Como en el caso anterior, nos encontramos con agujeros en su estructura para dar acceso a las distintas partes del iPad. En cuanto al precio, nos encontramos con el mismo rango de precios: **39,90 euros** y disponibilidad en color **negro**, **marrón** y **rosado**. ##Proporta Slim Jim Vista general de la Slim Jim La guinda del pastel la dejamos para el final; y es que la SlimJim de Proporta es probablemente **la funda que más me ha sorprendido de esta comparativa**. Tiene un precio casi irrisorio, más propio de una funda de los chinos, pero **la calidad de una funda de Proporta**, que nunca me ha decepcionado. Y soy usuario de fundas de Proporta ya varios años. Nos encontramos ante una funda tipo carcasa + Smart Cover, **construida en goma, muy agradable al tacto**. Además cuenta con unos puntos rugosos, que la fijan firmemente en la mesa, evitando cualquier tipo de desplazamiento. Como era de esperar, no todo el cuerpo es de goma, sino la protección exterior, pues el chásis de la carcasa está construido en policarbonato de alta resistencia. En este caso los laterales del iPad quedan demasiado descubiertos, **quedando protegidas solamente las esquinas**, que al fin y al cabo son lo más débil a la hora de una caída. 97

p>Podremos encontrarala en color gris, negro y rosa, a un precio de 12,95 euros. Quizás sea la funda para iPad con mejor relación calidad/precio de todas las que hayamos probado hasta ahora. Así que si no quieres gastarte una fortuna en una funda, y no quieres renunciar a materiales de calidad, esta es tu funda.
